This semester I am taking two photography classes, one is Professional Practices and the other is Digital Darkroom. Professional Practices is the business side of photography, which makes for a very interesting, and often times hilarious, class. One of the projects I’m working on this website and revamping it for the big reveal during class on Monday.
The other class is Digital Darkroom and it focuses on color correction and printing. It’s a pretty intense class but I’m definitely learning a lot. The biggest challenge is not losing all my work after I’ve edited the images.
This is an image from last night’s class in Digital Darkroom. The assignment is foreground/background and we are learning how to adjust curves and levels in Photoshop CC. I seriously feel like I’m blind when I am trying to color correct images.
